engcon — a global spare parts business built for scale
When engcon modernised its ERP, the spare parts webshop had to follow. The result is a scalable B2B commerce platform now rolling out market by market.

Adeprimo and engcon have worked together for several years across both digital development and marketing. When engcon faced a move to a new ERP system, the natural next step was to modernise the spare parts webshop at the same time — a business-critical part of the offering.
engcon is a world-leading manufacturer of tiltrotators and associated attachments for excavators. Based in Strömsund, Jämtland, the company operates in 17 markets through 15 sales companies. The machines are used in environments where they have to work: every lost hour affects the customer's operation. An accessible, clear and reliable spare parts business is therefore central, both to the end customer's efficiency and to engcon's long-term customer relationships.
The starting point
The previous e-commerce solution was outdated, had no mobile adaptation and was tied to an ERP system due to be replaced. It was also available in only a handful of markets and languages. The ambition was to replace it with a modern platform, functionally equivalent but built for international expansion.
B2B commerce in Litium, integrated with Monitor
We implemented a new B2B e-commerce solution in Litium, integrated with Monitor ERP. It handles close to 4,000 items, customer-specific price lists, logged-in customers and separate stock per country. The platform is structured to be rolled out to further markets and languages over time.
Exploded diagrams that sync automatically
One particularly important part was handling the products' exploded diagrams — not a standard feature in traditional e-commerce platforms. Through integration with engcon's internal systems, the diagrams, item mappings, quantities and associated comments are pulled into the webshop automatically. When a diagram is updated in the internal systems, the changes are synchronised and items are placed in the correct structure automatically.
Launched alongside a new ERP
The project ran in parallel with the ERP implementation, while data structures and ways of working were still taking shape. Close coordination between Adeprimo's team and engcon's organisation meant the solution could go live together with the ERP launch and then be rolled out market by market.
Today the spare parts business is established in several markets and forms a modern, scalable foundation for engcon's continued digital development.
